Wyoming Winter Retreat Features Spiritual Renewal and Recreation »
Overflowing with every element of "home" -- fun, fellowship, friendship, and faith, Wyoming Winter Retreat did not disappoint during its 31st annual retreat held at Mills Spring Ranch in Casper, Wyoming the weekend of February 16. Family, and friends joined together in spiritual renewal and winter recreation.
More than 60 people drove up Casper Mountain for this Christ-centered retreat, some from as far away as Farmington, New Mexico.
Guest speaker, Pastor Henry Johnson, Associate Director of Youth Ministries at the Carolina Conference, presented a series on coming home to the Father’s house. Using an interactive and engaging teaching style, Johnson often asked questions of the audience and occasionally involved actors, also from the audience, to help illustrate biblical stores.
Along with the spiritual aspect of the retreat, attendees enjoyed snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and loads of fresh snow at 8000 feet.
Liz Cornett and Tom McDonald, along with other volunteers, used their passion and dedication to make the retreat a success. If you enjoy camping and winter activities, join them next year for this annual event.
Mark your calendars and bring your friends and family to Winter Retreat at Mills Spring Ranch in beautiful Wyoming on February 14-26, 2020.
